Behind the Orient Express

Not only do we get a great featurette about what it takes to design a train from the 1920s but how do do it to a level of luxury that you would expect to have at that time.  It also includes interviews with the cast and crew who either built the train or worked in front of the camera.

As you learn from the feature, they did actually build a train and tracks for the film.  Another step of realism to make it even closer to real life.

What starts out as a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into one of the most stylish, suspenseful and thrilling mysteries ever told. From the novel by best-selling author Agatha Christie, “Murder on the Orient Express” tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.
