Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the GalaxyI will admit not knowing that much about this rogue band apart from their appearance in an episode of Ultimate Spider-Man. I get the idea of them being a set of good baddies. You can see that with the images below and the crimes they have on their records.

Just click on any of the below images to see a much bigger version and it also means you can read the rap sheet of each of our “heroes”!

No longer a Doctor Who Girl. Now playing the villain of the film!  Quite a difference to the last time she was in a film.

It does feel like Hollywood has lost its way by making one after another super-hero films so they will be guaranteed to make hundreds of millions of dollars.

I’m sure this will peter out in the next couple of years when fans are just bored with whatever dire superhero will finally end this run of super-hero films. They should be easy to spot the point when the, mythical, dead horse needs flogging. This, fortunately isn’t one. It isn’t one that non Marvel fanbois will easily recognise but with what I know – that’s not much by the way – they are an interesting mix of characters thrown together.  Not only that our “hero” calls himself Star Lord for some reason.  Probably because Peter Quill isn’t that an inspiring name

Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” finds space adventurer Peter Quill the object of a bounty hunt after stealing an orb coveted by a treacherous villain, but when Quill discovers the power it holds, he must find a way to rally the quartet of ragtag rivals hot on his trail to save the universe.
