Independence Day: Resurgence has its first trailer

Independence Day Resurgence
The aliens are back in Independence Day: Resurgence and they are pissed! In the years after the invasion mankind has evolved, adapted, reverse engineered and dreamed with the new technology that was discovered in their ships.

Now they want revenge on what we did to them! It doesn’t look good for us!

We have everyone who we have come to love from the original, as well as the “Will Smith replacement” character. Some characters re-appears but how is anybody’s guess as he died in the original in the “this is how the aliens kill” scene. Expect more of the same from the director, Roland Emmerich.

I’m going to say that this film is going to be one of the biggest films of 2016 or one of the biggest flops [ I like to hedge my bets 🙂 ].  It’s more likely to be the former but then again I haven’t had a look at what is being released around the film.

We always knew they would come back

We always knew they were coming back. After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.
