King Arthur goes cockney

Our favourite Mockney director, Guy Richie, now takes his hand on the Sword in the Stone with King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.

Today saw the new poster arrive.  I didn’t realise I had missed a poster.  However, I haven’t run anything of this film before so below the new poster is the trailer from Comic Con from back in July 2016.

So here is the new poster and just keep on going down for the trailer.  It is a very silly take on the legend as well as Arthur seems to be from “The East End” & not from wherever he’s meant to be from. Cornwall according to the fountain of all knowledge, Wikipedia.

The film is an iconoclastic take on the classic Excalibur myth, tracing Arthur’s journey from the streets to the throne.

When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern, Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.
