Mad Max gets a new trailer. This one shows a lot more of the action and the amazing car stunts that we are going to see.
This trailer doesn’t show that much more of the actual plot but we do see a lot more vehicles crashing into each other and exploding into huge fireballs.
It does have everything that you have come to expect from the Mad Max franchise. Yes, I know it’ll have been 20 years since we last saw Max walk onto the Silver Screen. I do think the wait is worth it.
The only worry I have is that Mel isn’t back. It would have been nice to see what happened in the decades after The Thunderdome. Then again, it is nice to see this version. It’s more Mad Max 1.5 than 4. Somewhere between losing his family and what makes him the Road Warrior.
Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
Exploding into UK cinemas May 15, 2015
