Michael Fassbender talks about his take on the classic character from Shakespeare, Macbeth. A character scared by war and takes the pain with him. Not a man pushed by his wife but by his psychological scares of war. It is a modern take on what causes him to do what he does thought out the time we get to know him. We also have interviews with the director and his Lady, Marion Cotillard. Both are also talking about Michael’s take on the character and how this version will be remembered in the future. I think they maybe correct.
A country torn apart. A man trying to hold a nation together. What will happen to the man? His mind and his ambitions?
Macbeth is the story of a fearless warrior and inspiring leader brought low by ambition and desire. A thrilling interpretation of the dramatic realities of the times and a reimagining of what wartime must have been like for one of literature’s most famous and compelling characters, a story of all-consuming passion and ambition set in war torn Scotland.
